John Vaclavik, Jr is the National Marketing Director for The James Street Group (TJSG), America`s premier plaintiff-only structured settlement firm. He has been in the insurance/financial/structured settlement industry for 34 years.

John earned a BA degree from Abilene-Christian University and his Masters degree from Texas Tech University. His career began as a Teacher`s Assistant at Texas Tech and he eventually taught on the junior college level. Next, John joined a congressional staff in Washington DC, where he worked for four years.  A job with the staff of the former Governor, Preston Smith, brought John back to Texas.

John has devoted the last six years of his business career to the structured settlement industry.  He has spoken at numerous CLE Seminars in California, Hawaii, Idaho, Louisiana, Oregon, South Dakota, Washington, and Mexico on behalf of TJSG and the structured settlement industry. He recently wrote a structured settlement article that was published in the Oregon Trial Lawyers magazine and the Los Angeles Daily Journal.

John has been married for 40 years with two grown children and three grandchildren.
